Diving into the Enigma
The Research
“Eye on the Sky,” which began as a year-long investigative field research study of significant importance is now in its third year. It was conducted at Robert Moses State Park (RMSP), a barrier island (Fire et al.). It began in July 2022 and continued to July 2023 off the south shore of Long Island, NY. This location is known for its unique environmental conditions and potential for discovering unexplained aerial phenomena based on a significant number of retrospective UAP cases reported off America’s coastline. Sightings of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) by the military and civilians alike are becoming increasingly common. Encounters with unknown aerial objects detailed in such prominent military-related cases as Gimbal and Nimitz (Mizokami, 2019) [1] (U.S. Navy, 2020) [2] (Cooper, 2019) [3], among others, are now embedded in the UAP lexicon with the growing reports of unknown objects viewed by commercial airline pilots only adding to the volume. While these and other UAP reports inspired this paper, it is true that initiatives driven by the U.S. Congress and put in place by the Pentagon also spurred motivation. The recent establishment of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), charged with investigating hundreds of trans-medium UAP incidents, both legacy and new (Department of Defense, 2022) [4], provided added credibility and gravitas to the existence and exploration of mystery objects in our skies. Since much of the official data on unknown objects is kept classified, it is vital that the private sector also step up efforts of inquiry into these phenomena, which could pose a risk to our national security, geographical integrity, and passenger aviation safety. Of equal importance is the realization of a potential gap in our understanding of nature, our reality, and questions about where humanity stands in relationship to possible unknown aspects of something else displaying its shadow existence.

Nightcrawler: Eye on the Sky" stands out as a groundbreaking work in the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) study. Authored by John J. Tedesco, Gerald T. Tedesco, and Donna Lee Nardo, this book takes a scientific and methodical approach to a subject often shrouded in mystery and speculation. The uniqueness of the text lies in its use of advanced sensors and instruments, bringing a new level of rigor and precision to UAP research. The authors' commitment to scientific principles in examining these phenomena off New York's Long Island Coast is commendable, offering credible insights and challenging existing perceptions. The book's detailed technical descriptions and innovative methodologies make it a pioneering resource for anyone interested in the scientific investigation of UAPs. Its comprehensive analysis and clear commitment to empirical data set a new standard in a field that demands thoroughness and objectivity. This work is a must-read for enthusiasts and skeptics alike, offering a fresh perspective on one of the most intriguing subjects of our time. The approach taken by "Nightcrawler: Eye on the Sky" in combining high technical specificity with clear explanations of each instrument used in detecting UAPs has several advantages. Firstly, it enhances the credibility and scientific rigor of the research by providing detailed information about the methodologies and tools used. This transparency allows for the replication and validation of findings, which is essential in scientific research. Secondly, by explaining the function and relevance of each instrument, the text becomes accessible to a broader audience, bridging the gap between specialized researchers and general readers interested in UAP studies. This dual approach enriches the reader's understanding and appreciation of the complexities involved in UAP research.
Science is an ever-unfinished path blazed by curious and brave souls who, in addition to simply seeking answers, take on the great responsibility and power of curating humanity’s perception of themselves and the universe. Gerry Tedesco and John Tedesco are a research team that takes on this responsibility with elegance, demonstrating uncompromised integrity in their research methods, a steadfast commitment to their higher vision, and a rare level of comfort with the depth of humility that open-minded skepticism and loyalty to the evidence that scholarly research science requires at its foundation.
Where other research projects struggle to organize, orchestrate, and execute, John and Gerry are demonstrating a refreshing agility and nimbleness in their decisive and calculated approach to research and discovery that will no doubt lead to quantum leaps in the understanding of the phenomena that define their future-critical, interdisciplinary field. Through their disciplined research, Gerry and John are already making significant and meaningful contributions, and there is no doubt that time will reveal this valuable team to be pioneers of a new scientific paradigm and a new fundamental ontology that will be a compass for generations to come.

Nightcrawler’s Eye on the Sky SME Community Rallies Experts to Investigate UAPs: Appeals for Public Support
LONG ISLAND, NY— In an unprecedented collaborative effort, the Nightcrawler’s Eye on the Sky Community, a dedicated group of researchers investigating anomalous phenomena, has mobilized a diverse team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to enhance its disclosure initiative. This initiative seeks to shed light on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) and addresses the burgeoning concerns over the recent uptick in reported drone sightings across the nation.
As the dialogue surrounding UAPs — often colloquially referred to as UFOs — gains momentum, the SME community has recognized a pressing need for credible voices and informed analysis. Nightcrawler’s initiative enlists a powerful coalition of SME experts from prominent Long Island academic institutions, including Engineering and Technology representatives from Industry. These SMEs will play a vital role in examining the growing volume of reports linking UAPs and drone-like technologies to navigate these phenomena complexities and deliver coherent insights to the public. In this era of information and technology, transparency is crucial.
Addressing Public Concerns
In light of public anxieties related to the drones, particularly regarding safety and privacy, addressing public concerns is paramount. The researchers are examining all aspects of aerial phenomena, from their potential implications to robust protocols for engagement. With the proliferation of drone technology, a growing community of enthusiasts has bombarded local authorities with myriad reports leading to the current climate of fear and fascination.
The SME community Network’s prime focus channels towards deciphering facts from fiction, offering a conduit for rational discussions while keeping the anxiety stemming from phobia-fitting narratives in check.
A Call for Support
Despite our high-powered expertise, this initiative is facing a critical obstacle: funding. To maintain its “boots on the ground” approach and keep scholars, engineers, and technologists routinely employed in exploring these technologically advanced theories, Nightcrawler has launched a campaign to rally financial support from the public, emphasizing collective ownership in the transparency mission.
Every contribution from the public community—large or small—offers us an opportunity for the SME Community Network (SMECN) to delve deeper, investigate earnestly, and ultimately foster a data-informed, inclusive community concerned about the UAP Phenomenon and future disclosures. Nightcrawler will lead the charge towards disclosure in these uncharted territories of research; they remain steadfast in their mission: illuminating the obscure nature of our realities—as they pave the way for responsible curiosity about aerial phenomena.
